7:25 p.m.

Daddy got in his room about 5:15 p.m. At 7:15, his dinner arrived.....all liquids. The barbeque plate that Mother had looked much better! It is hard to sink your teeth into jello and chicken buillion and be satisfied.

The doctor is saying that Daddy could go home tomorrow or Wednesday. We will know more tomorrow.

3:35 p.m.

They didn't take Daddy to surgery until 1:00!! So much for being there at 6:00 a.m.!

The infection did not go to the lungs. Halleluia!! They cleaned Daddy's incisions and restitched them. There was so much infection, they put in two drains.

Daddy's room will be in the Spain building. At this time, he is still in the operating room, while they put the final touches on him.

10:20 a.m.

Spoke with mother. They were just doing the CAT scan. After they get the results, then they will do surgery. I will call on my lunch hour and update this blog.

Pray that the infection is not deep and that they will not have to put in a drain.
